Albuquerque says the challenge is to overcome socialism and colonialism by 2023

He also indicated that the PSD’s “ethical commitment” is to make Madeira one of the “most developed and cosmopolitan” regions in Europe.

He stressed that, after two years of crisis, the regional economy is “in full development” and the situation has returned to normal, stressing that “the word impossible does not exist for the PSD/Madeira.”

Addressing the party’s national leader, Luís Montenegro, whom he supported in the presidential race, he argued that “in politics there are no free lunches” and considered that Madeira intends to be “decisive” to “win the next legislative elections and be the first”. -minister” of Portugal.
