WATCH: Man hit by car on New York street, robbed while lying down, injured

A man was hit by a car and then robbed while lying injured on a sidewalk in the Bronx on Saturday morning.

A 39-year-old man died when he was struck by a dark-colored car at around 06:40 in the morning while walking on E. 169th Street. New York Post Reported on Sunday.

The car seems to disappear from the camera’s field of view. Moments later, however, a suspect wearing dark trousers and a light shirt walks by and appears to be rummaging through his pockets with another man standing nearby.

“The suspects hit a 39-year-old man with a car and then forcibly took his property,” police said.

Authorities also encouraged citizens to contact them with additional information.

Officials said the injured were taken to Lincoln Hospital, where his condition is critical. Mail.

According to the NYPD, the first suspect is identified as a man with fair skin and Afro hair. The second suspect, a black man with Afro hair, was wearing light-colored pants, a black hoodie, and running shoes.

“The third man in the car was described as a ‘white, slightly built, short-haired man’. He was last seen wearing black pants and a light-colored hoodie. Mail said report.

In May, police were searching for two suspects accused of punching and kicking a 25-year-old man during another robbery in the Bronx.
