Maher: ‘Not in my backyard’ Abbott is called ‘bluff’ and ‘hypocrisy’ by city Democrats who want ‘borders open or close’

On Friday’s episode of “Overtime” in Real Time, host Bill Maher, Texas Gov. The fact that Greg Abbott (right) brought immigrants to New York, Washington, DC and Chicago exposed the bluff of liberals in those cities and the “hypocrisy” of those on the left who said “let’s open the borders or go near”, “but not in my backyard”.

“An interesting question for liberals: hey, let’s open or close the borders, let them come later, but not to our states. And the Texas governor bluffed them. Do you like immigrants? Get some of us.

“It’s hypocrisy to congratulate them, but not in my backyard. That’s what looks different about it.”
