The case came down to criticism of the service – with the rest of the match attacking it – but the constitutional review looks like a game in which António Costa’s PS does not want to lose points for do not show, even because most of them are decisive. The Socialists are advancing, but they are unconvinced and cohesive about what should change in the Basic Text.
The only voice that was heard against the position of the PS on Miguel Alves, in the meeting of the National Political Commission of the party where Costa began to justify the loss of the element that he was looking for just two months ago for the political coordination of the Government, was the one of Daniel Adriano???????? The truth is that the departure of Miguel Alves took the pressure off the evening meeting and relieved the leader António Costa, leaving the Socialists more relaxed. One senior official even noted that, before the resignation, the party was more “uneasy” about the same issue.
