The Lebanese national team were placed in Group C along with defending champions Iran, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia in the 2022 Asian Futsal Cup held in Kuwait from September 27 to October 8, 2022, following a draw held on Thursday at the headquarters of the Asian Football confederation in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

On the other hand, the host team of Kuwait plays in Group A, which includes Iraq, Thailand and Oman.

Japan sits second in Group D against Vietnam, South Korea and Saudi Arabia, while Group B includes Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

In the final, 16 teams will compete for the precious continental title, because the tournament will be held in the West Asia region from September 27 to October 8, 2022 for the first time in 10 years.

The participating teams were divided into 4 groups, with four teams each, with the host team of Kuwait placing first and the rest of the teams classified according to the results of the 2018 Asian Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei. The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.
