Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho ended his quick visit to Egypt at the invitation of the Eastern Company, which owns a team in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Eastern Company organized a press conference for Ronaldinho at the foot of the Giza pyramids on Tuesday night.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Brazilian star visited the headquarters of the Eastern Company, located in (Al-Omraniya), one of the popular neighborhoods of Giza Governorate.
Ronaldinho attended the training session of the Compañía Oriental team and took commemorative photos with players and coach Alaa Abdel Aal.
Ronaldinho was scheduled to attend the match between Al-Ahly and Compañía del Este, but the match was postponed to June 15 due to Al-Ahly’s association with Wydad Casablanca in the Champions League final in the CAF.
Ronaldinho ended with an emotional message via his official accounts on social media platforms in front of the pyramids of Giza, saying: “Without words, Egypt is always magnificent and the pyramids remains one of the greatest wonders in the world. ”

Ronaldinho is associated with more than a memory of football in Egypt, where his rise began by leading the Brazilian team in 1997 to win the U-17 World Cup, which was played in Egypt.
The Brazilian star also participated with his former club Barcelona, Spain, in the celebrations of the Al-Ahly club, the 100th anniversary of its foundation.
Ronaldinho led the Catalan team to victory over Al-Ahly (4-0) in a friendly against Cairo Stadium on April 24, 2007.
