The Palestine national team beat the Philippines 4-0 in the third and final round of qualification for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

Thanks to this victory, the team advanced to the second group with 9 points and officially reached the final of the continental championship.

Four goals were scored by Saleh Shehade on the 31st, Tamer Siam on the 42nd, Muhammad Yamin on the 55th day and Mahmoud Abu Warda on the 72nd day of the meeting.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinian team scored 10 goals in the three Asian Nations qualifiers they played against Mongolia (1:0), Yemen (5:0) and the Philippines (4:0), while not losing any goal.

And participate in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, 24 teams were divided into 6 groups, of which the first place and the best five seconds from each group qualify to join the 13 teams that qualified for the 2023 Nations Cup earlier, namely Australia , Oman, Iran, Iraq and Vietnam Japan, South Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE, Lebanon and host China.
