Summer transfer market journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that French club Paris Saint-Germain have chosen their mentor for next season, which is Lille manager Christophe Galtier.

Di Marzio has revealed that Galtier will sign a two-year contract with the Parisian club to succeed Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who is due to leave in the coming days.

Di Marzio has confirmed that the option of former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has become unlikely.

In turn, journalist Nicolo Shira confirmed this news, noting that Galtier had reached an agreement with PSG on a two-year contract.

Other press reports confirm that Zidane is still a candidate to become Paris Saint-Germain manager next season, in light of club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s strong desire to sign the 49-year-old.

Notably, Paris Saint-Germain recently announced the signing of sporting director Luis Campos.
