The curtain was lowered on the 32 teams that qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after the final teams from the continental playoffs qualified. While reaching the World Cup is a great achievement for football in any country and for the country itself, the financial value that football associations receive is also very important.

FIFA has increased the amount of revenues generated by 32 qualifying teams for the Qatar 2022 edition, where each qualifying team receives € 8.6 million, more than the teams formed in Russia in 2018 at a difference of € 950,000.

FIFA has allocated 422 million euros in revenues to the qualifying teams based on their positions among the World Cup finalists, provided that the figures are disclosed a few days before the start of the competition.
