Serbian star Novak Djokovic showed his great happiness in qualifying for the second round of Wimbledon by beating his South Korean rival Kwon Sung-Woo three sets to one.

In a conversation with him, Djokovic said: “I want to thank the fans for coming, this stadium is very special for me, and I have always dreamed of playing and winning here, and indeed, I fulfilled my dreams in this stadium and in that tournament, and therefore I am honored to be back on the main court of Wimbledon.”

He added: “It was hard to beat him and the match could have gone differently if I hadn’t saved the break points I got in the third set.”

Having achieved 80 victories in all four Grand Slam tournaments, he concluded: “I am very passionate about this sport, yes, I am not young anymore, but love still drives me to tennis and at this stage of my career I try to give my best level on Grand Slam tournaments and in the best stadiums.
