The World Motor Sport Council is meeting in Paris for a second meeting in 2022 to discuss a number of key issues related to the FIA series of races, the most important of which is Formula 1. At a meeting organized by FIA President Mohamed Ben Sulay with FIA Vice-President for Sports Robert Reid, a number of amendments were made to the Formula 1 sports and technical regulations. The most important amendments are the following:

– Updated the time of the official media activities of the racers before the races. This action will be completed within 2 hours, 23 hours before the scheduled start of the first free workout.
After problems at the Miami Grand Prix where the Aston Martin team had problems with fuel temperature, it now allows the fuel to cool down to 20 degrees Celsius in high temperature races. A temperature sample will be taken one hour before the race.
– The air deflectors for the small beam below the rear spoiler have been updated, and the mirror positions have been changed to provide the driver with a better rear view.
The rules regarding vehicle restrictions during tire testing have also been updated.
