For the third day in a row, the relay races of the second West Asian Championship among men and women (under 20) in athletics, organized by the Lebanese Federation for the game at the Al Jamhour club stadium, were held under the auspices of the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun and with the participation of nine countries, and namely the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Lebanon.

The competitions of the third day were held in the presence of the President of the Asian Athletics Federation, Major General Dahlan Al-Hamad and members of the Continental Federation, the President of the West Asian Federation Sayyar Al-Enezi and his deputy Muhammad Issa Al-Fadal and members of the Federation, the President of the Lebanese Athletics Federation Roland Saade and members of the Federation, Championship Director Wissam Al-Hawli, heads and members of the delegations participating in the championship, the Lebanese Athletics Family, as well as press and media representatives in the local and Arab media.

On the third penultimate day, Lebanon continued to collect medals as Maysa Moawad managed to add a second gold medal in the high jump after her first gold medal in the 100 m on the first day of the championships. Her compatriot Jana Thermos won the gold medal in the 3000m steeplechase.
