Chelsea star Mason Mount spoke about his activities since the end of last season during the summer break, while Mount returned to the Blues after the end of the summer break to prepare for the new season.

Mount said in a conversation with him: “I was also able to go to Wimbledon, obviously tennis and Formula 1 are two different sports, but you can learn and take something from them, so it’s nice to see them, I’m with I’ve raced Red Bull the last few times so I’ve supported them and they’ve been doing well lately so hopefully it will continue.”

He added: “It’s only been three weeks, so there’s not much to lose,” he agrees, and I always like to keep working a little while training. In Portugal, with the Chelsea U23s when they were there, I would train shooting with them.”

He concluded: “When you keep thinking it helps when you come back for the first time when you don’t feel too far behind, there was a group that came back before us and trained all last week so they are doing well, I just I wanted to come back with the guys, come back with all the staff and come back.” We’re really hard at work and getting the season going, we’ve got some good games here in America, some great weeks, so we’re going to enjoy it.”
