This morning, some Catalan municipalities were under a yellow warning from the Spanish meteorological agency, AEMET, due to heavy rainfall. The warning has since been strengthened. Starting at 9:00 a.m. (local time, one o’clock less in Lisbon), heavy rain and strong winds are expected in the coastal area of Girona, where Cadaqués is located, a city where around 30 cars were swept away by the rain.
