El Gouna scored a fatal 2-1 victory over Talaa El Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League matchday 25 clash at the Khaled Bechara Stadium in Hurghada.

El Gouna scored the first goal through Karim Tarek in the 10th minute and Talaa El Gaish equalized in the 72nd minute with a penalty converted by Amr Emad.

El Gouna is 14th in the Egyptian league table with 26 points and Talaa El Gaish is seventh with 37 points.

The National Bank of Egypt beat Smouha at Alexandria Stadium in the same round.

Karim Bamboo, a player from Al Ahli Bank, scored the only goal of the match to advance his team with a penalty kick from the ground to the left of Smouh goalkeeper Omar Salah.

With this result, Al-Ahly Bank solidified its presence in seventh place with 37 points and denied Smouha the golden square and kept him in fifth place with 39 points.
