The Pyramids have sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association asking them to participate in the African Champions League as it is currently second in the Premier League table.

According to the Egyptian Federation, Zamalek and Al Ahli have been selected for the African Champions League, Pyramids and Future of the Confederation, with the teams participating in the Kef tournaments to be sent later this month. .

For its part, the Egyptian Federation has informed the Pyramids Club that the participation of Zamalek and Al Ahli in the Champions League is based on the premise of achieving fairness and equal opportunity among all clubs. He added that if the clubs were determined before July 10, Al-Ahli would have acted unfairly, because they had matches from the first round postponed, unlike the rest of the clubs in the league.

Zamalek leads the Egyptian league standings with 57 points, the Pyramids are in second place with 53 points and Al-Ahly are third with 48 points and have two rescheduled matches.
