A recent study conducted at the University of California in the United States of America showed that antibiotics have a significant negative impact on athletic performance, especially in professional athletes.

The study was conducted on running and normal mice, and the results of the test showed that the “sporting” mice were significantly affected after taking a dose of antibiotics.

In the details of the study, two groups of mice, the first female athlete and the other normal, were given a dose of antibiotics to monitor their effect on the mice and their movement after the end of the dose.

The results showed that antibiotics kill beneficial bacteria in the body that are responsible for converting carbohydrates into chemicals that greatly affect muscle activity.

According to study lead author Monica McNamara, antibiotics do not affect the average person as much as they do the professional athlete.

The team is currently working to identify the microbes responsible for this process, with the hope of using it as a treatment to help normal people exercise more.
