WATCH: Anthony Joshua has a nervous breakdown in the ring after his second loss to Usyk

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk retained the heavyweight title by winning a rematch with Anthony Joshua in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, causing the latter to collapse in the ring.

Former heavyweight Usyk, 35, defeated Joshua in 12 rounds by a split decision in front of a hostile crowd, but many observers saw the win as more decisive than they thought, and even the BBC admitted:[w]Even in some close rounds Usyk was a deserving winner.”

Joshua, 32, fell into an unreasonably unsportsmanlike tantrum after his second defeat was announced to a younger fighter by capturing two Usky titles. throw them in the ring before stepping on the ropes and leaving in anger.

Before leaving the arena, however, the Anglo-Nigerian turned around, re-entered the ring and showed Usyk his “character” and “determination” in a unique way by wrapping himself in the Ukrainian flag.

Realizing that perhaps he was embarrassing himself, Joshua tried to compensate by taking the microphone and explaining to the crowd, who supported him and mocked Usyk, that his behavior was “just a feeling”.

“If you know my story, you will understand my passion. [I was not] not a novice boxer. I was about to go to jail, I was released on bail and started training,” he continued, giving an impressive speech from imaginary critics who allegedly defamed him for not boxing “like Rocky Marciano.”

“I’m not 14 stone [196 lbs/89 kg]i am 18 stone [252 lbs/114 kg]I’m heavy, he complained.

Joshua praised Usyk as a fighter and asked the crowd to support him, but still dominated the unlikely champion with his quirks.

Usyk, on the other hand, used his late victory speech to highlight his country’s ongoing struggle with Russia and held a title consolidation fight with the conditionally retired Tyson Fury.

“I dedicate this victory to my family, my country, my team, the whole army that defends this country – thank you very much,” said the Ukrainian.

“Maybe Tyson Fury hasn’t retired yet. I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him. If I don’t fight Fury, I won’t,” he said.

“God only knows if I will fight him, but all these gentlemen around me, my team, will help me.”
