Paulo Futre was hospitalized this Sunday due to a heart problem after feeling bad at his mother’s funeral. The information is provided by the newspaper Récord and Sport Tv.

The 56-year-old former player was assisted for the first time in the Barreiro hospital and then transferred to the Hospital de Santa María, in Lisbon, where he will undergo tests, in particular a catheterization.

However, on Instagram, Paulo Futre posted a photograph in the hospital to thank the fans for their support. “I will continue fighting, I still have many games to play. A big hug ”, he reads in the caption of the photo.
