Ajax, three-time champion of the Dutch soccer league, announced this Thursday the signing of midfielder Florian Grillitsch at zero cost for one season, after the contract that linked him to German Hoffenheim expired in July.
The emblem also has the option to extend the contract for two more years with the 27-year-old Austrian international, who spent nine years in Germany, the last five with Hoffenheim, in which he played 151 games and scored eight goals.
Also on Wednesday, Ajax made official the arrival on loan with an option to buy the Argentine Lucas Ocampos, from Sevilla, to replace the transfer of the Brazilian Antony to Manchester United, in an operation valued at around 100 million euros.
In Amsterdam, the attacking midfielder will share a dressing room with the Portuguese Francisco Conceição -who also arrived this season-, under the orders of Alfred Schreuder, in an attempt to win the fourth consecutive title of the Dutch championship.
