Former Zamalek coach Mohamed Salah has revealed that the Egyptian club will be under more pressure than in previous seasons to win the Egyptian League title for the third consecutive season.
Salah said: “Zamalek in the league of the new season will put the most pressure, especially since he won the local title and is responsible for keeping it. He will appear in the league of the new season. Did Zamalek win the title by accident or is the team really the best? Where can Al Abyad prove his strength as he wins the title for the third time in a row.
And he continued his tale of Omar Jaber’s return to Zamalek: “(Omar Maahun Zamalek) and he came out of the big door and did not escape like the others and his presence is a great technical addition to Zamalek and he will provide a great return and he will be a strong choice with Hamza Matluti.”
And about the role of team leader Shikabala, he spoke with his colleagues: “Some accused Shikabala of damaging the dressing room at Zamalek, but many do not know his great role, as it helps to raise the spirit of the team.”
He concluded by saying, “Look what Shikabala is doing with the new players in Zamalek and what a great spirit there is between him and the new deals as he quickly brings new players into harmony. I felt that Mustafa Al-Zanari was at the Zamalek club for some time.
