Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier expressed his joy at the team’s 2-1 victory over Nice in the ninth round of the French Ligue 1.
“I was happy with the first half of the match, but the start of the second half was disastrous,” Galtier said after the match.
He added: “In the second half we were not in the best shape, we had to infuse new blood, there was fatigue from the return of international players, so I preferred to leave them before the Champions League.”
He continued: “Messi I have the opportunity to see him every day in training, he is a team player, plays well with his teammates, scores a lot of goals, he can be the best player in the world again.”
He explained: “The schedule of matches is very tight, I saw players who struggled to restart the game in the second half.”
And concluded: “Sanchez felt a slight sprain in his left leg while sliding, he was returning from an injury, so it’s too early to judge the degree of risk.”
