“I think that shows how heroic and wonderful queer people are,” he said at the premiere of the film at Outfest in Los Angeles. “And the fact that we are stronger as a people and a nation because of our diversity.”
All the actors who play the vacationers are called “weird” actors.
“I’ve never been to a gay conversion camp, but at some point in my life I may have succumbed to pressure to fit in,” says actor Austin Crute. Variation. “I think this movie speaks to my inner child who wants to be seen, and now I feel it’s been seen, and it’s incredible.”

Bacon described the film’s young characters as “tomorrow”.
“Sometimes it’s hard to find hope these days, but we still have to hope,” she told ET Canada at its premiere. “All we can hope for is future youth like the people in this movie.”
