A video clip documents the moment when the new naval ship “His Majesty the King of Jubail” arrived in Saudi Arabia from Spain.
According to information provided by some Saudi media pages on social networking sites, “This ship is the world’s last warship and the first in the Sarawat ships project, which includes the production and construction of 5 modern naval vessels. The ships are capable of dealing with all threats and include the latest ship warfare systems. It is 97 meters long and weighs 2,500 tons.

Azzam bin Abdul Karim Al-Qain, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Spain, attended the unveiling of this ship when it landed there.
In 2018, Saudi Arabia signed a contract with the Spanish company Navantia to build 5 new warships for the Saudi army, and the contracts are worth about 1.8 billion euros.
These ships can move at 25 knots and are armed with 35 and 76 mm guns, anti-ship missiles, ESSM air defense missiles, 12.7 mm machine guns and 324 mm torpedoes.
