The famous Russian weapons manufacturer Vladislav Lobaev on his channel “Telegram” published a story about a battle that took place between Russian and Ukrainian snipers.
The first is the Ukrainian sniper, armed with the “Stalingrad” rifle made by the “Lubaev” company, and the second – the American-made Barrett sniper rifle.
He said that the Ukrainian sniper bombarded our positions from 1,500 meters for several days and wounded several soldiers, and that everyone could not stop him due to the lack of technical means.
They were assisted by a Russian sniper, armed with a long-range “Stalingrad” sniper rifle. Having learned the details of what happened, the Russian sniper and his assistant began to hunt for the owner of the Barrett, and after a while they returned. The Russian sniper won thanks to his skill and the “Stalingrad” rifle, which hit his opponent from a distance of 1700 meters. The Russians returned from the war with Barrett rifles and American-made tracking and correction devices.
It is worth noting that Barrett is one of the best large-caliber automatic sniper rifles in the world, but was completely defeated in the battle of “Stalingrad”.
Lubaev said that according to the technical documentation, the working distance of “Stalingrad” is 1,600 meters, but sometimes he can exceed it, like this time.
