Mercedes agencies have announced that the company has decided to recall approximately 300,000 vehicles in the United States due to technical problems found in these vehicles.
According to available information, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a new campaign to recall 292,287 Mercedes cars sold on the US market between 2006 and 2012, as well as 31,577 other cars that sold in Canada.
The media said that “the reason these cars were recalled and called for service was to discover brake fluid problems in them, which could cause serious accidents due to leaking system fluids brake.”
Mercedes models to be recalled include GL cars and R-class cars, as well as ML SUVs, including AMG versions of these cars.
According to Mercedes officials, “During the inspection of the cars in question, mechanics will examine the internal brake systems, check for signs of rust or wear, and if such defects are identified problem, it must be fixed immediately.”
