Russian border forces use magnetic anti-drone

The border institute of the Russian Federal Intelligence Service (FSB) received a patent for anti-drone.

Scientists at the institute have created a small drone that specializes in infecting the enemy’s radio-electronic means and carrying a combat payload. The drone consists of a drone and a combat payload isolated from it. The drone, which has a cylindrical shape, folding wings and rudders, is placed inside a container where it is transported and launched.

The combat charge is a jet projectile with an electric pulse generator and a remote detonation system.

Equipped with infrared cameras, GLONASS satellite navigation devices, solar cells and electric motors, there is an acceleration unit behind the drone body.

It is assumed that the UAV was launched in an area where the enemy uses unmanned aerial vehicles or electronic wireless devices. The solid fuel engine, when the wings are opened and the engine is turned on, takes the drone to a height beyond the flight height of enemy drones and the drone begins to fly horizontally. Thanks to the solar cell, it stays in the air for as long as possible and sends information about air and ground conditions to the command center.

After identifying the target, the drone approaches the target, launches a combat payload and detonates the electromagnetic pulse generator, which creates massive radiation that destroys enemy drones.

Drones can be used to combat isolated drones and drone swarms. The drone can be used more than once, and after completing the mission, it will return to its base and land with a parachute at the airport.
