There is no memory of a manufacturer showing as much dynamism as Ford, after signing an agreement to enter Formula 1 as an engine supplier within three years. The North American constructor, with extensive experience in the modality, does not miss the slightest opportunity to explore its relationship with Red Bull F1 Racing, with whom it will design and produce an F1 engine to debut in 2026, the year in which the new regulations come into force. There are several examples, the most recent being the launch of a puzzle on the prototype of the next Performance version of the electric pick-up F-150 Lightning.
Mustang Mach-E 1400: the electric Ford even scares
Ford had already mentioned, the previous week, that it was preparing to design a series of models it calls “EV Performance Demonstrators”, vehicles that would aim to demonstrate the potential of this technology. Now the brand, through its CEO Jim Farley, has lifted the veil a bit – and here literally – on one of these exuberant models, namely the more powerful version of the F-150 pickupprecisely the best-selling vehicle in the USA.
The electric Ford Transit has 2000 hp. look how it flies
This super electric pick-up was partially revealed through a puzzlein which Jim Farley appears to lift part of the fabric that covers the F-150 Performance. Only a detail of the headlight, grille and front bumper are visible, but the biggest news is that the reveal is taking place in front of a very special viewer.who is also a representative of Ford’s new partner: none other than F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, who in 2023 will play the role of third element of the Red Bull team, as well as test driver and replacement for Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez. who must compete in all competitions of the championship.

EV Performance Demonstrators’ Special Ford F-150 Lightning Will Surely Make Over 1000 HP, if we take into account the demonstration vehicles recently produced by the brand, from the Mustang Mach-E 1400 to the Mustang Cobra Jet 1400, both with more than 1,400 CV, passing through the Supervan, which delivers 2,000 CV. As such, it’s not unreasonable to aim for something between 1500 and 2000 hp.
