The concentration of pollen in the atmosphere may increase from Monday on the continent

In the regions of the Algarve, Alentejo, Lisbon and Setúbal and also in the Madeira archipelago in particular “chenopodium pollination is observed” and in the north and center of the country. Birch pollen stands out.

In Madeira and the Azores, the pollen “will come mainly” from pines and cypresses (and/or cryptomeria in the largest of the archipelagos) and from urticaceae herbs (including parietaria), nettle, plantain and grasses.
