A man died this Thursday after an alleged crash involving a motorcycle that was traveling on Estrada Nacional 114, in Vidais, in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, and was found hours later, said the commander of the local firefighters.
The president of the Caldas da Rainha company, Nelson Cruz, stated that around 10 in the morning a distress alert was received due to an accident.
When the media arrived at the scene they realized that The motorcycle and the driver, between 45 and 50 years old, were in a field next to National Highway 114.in Vidais (Leiria district).
When the police arrived, the victim was already dead, indicating that “the accident had occurred a few hours earlier.”

The death was certified at the scene by the doctor of the Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation (VMER) of Caldas da Rainha.
There were three vehicles and six operational personnel at the scene, including resources from the firefighters and the VMER of Caldas da Rainha, in addition to the GNR, which is investigating.
