MSNBC presenter Joy Reid said on “The ReidOut” on Thursday that the Republican Party is forcing teachers to teach “the sanitized white nationalist Christian history they want.”
Reid said, “Disney has been the target of a boycott since 1996 led by a coalition of groups called the Christian Family Association. The boycott continued until 2005. Disney films such as Crime, Priest, Pulp Fiction and Sex, Lies and Video Tape, and Ellen, NYPD. Blue distributes Disney-owned ABC shows like ‘Spin-City’ and ‘Nothing Sacred’.
He continued: “Move forward, and Americans are not doing what the depressed Paul Weirich, abandoning America’s decadent culture, suggested. Instead, they have new tactics, the power. Supreme Court justices have opened the door to the state with their awards. After all, women are raping children of rapists. “You can even expect a national ban forcing them to carry and give birth. Who knows when they’ll come for your birth control pills and IUDs? With so-called anti-revival laws, they will force teachers to teach as they please only white nationalists clearing Christian history.”
Reed added: “They’re banning books that kids don’t want to read or research online to keep them gay-free. If you think wrong or vote wrong, they will prevent you from protesting or voting. Ron DeSantis was the first to penalize companies, specifically Disney, for daring to criticize anti-gay law. Josh Hawley walked in and said, “Ron, hold my beer.” A rebellious senator in Missouri is proud of Putin by passing a law that would change the term Disney’s copyright as punishment for his mental crimes. It is similar to the Russian dictator demanding McDonald’s intellectual property in Russia for the crime of removing them from the franchise because of the war and replacing Uncle Vanya’s golden belts. Russia seems to be where the Republicans got their ideas from. ”
