Good Morning America Names Ketanji Brown Jackson ‘First Black Supreme Court Justice’

Good Morning America (GMA) mistakenly named Ketanji Brown Jackson “the first black Supreme Court justice in US history” in the titles of videos posted on various social media platforms, aired on ABC TV and has millions of subscribers and followers.

GMA gave its 4.08 million subscribers a false statement in the title of a YouTube video, saying “Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in as the first black Supreme Court justice in U.S. history.” Same name accompaniment The video on GMA’s Twitter account, which has 3.7 million followers. In fact, the late Thurgood Marshall was the first black judge and after his retirement he was replaced by black judge Clarence Thomas.

GMA fixed the “bad tweet” after deleting it.

The YouTube video had over 10,000 views before the title was corrected. The comment section quickly drew attention to Good Morning America’s obvious mistake, as the tweet went uncorrected for nearly five hours before it was deleted. According to Breitbart News, in April, Politico made the same mistake and tweeted: “Ketanji Brown Jackson is likely to be confirmed as the first black Supreme Court justice by the end of this week.”

The error will be corrected in the next printing.

In March, Breitbart News, citing documents from Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) office, added that “Brown Jackson condemned those with child pornography almost 60 percent below the national average”:

Also, child pornography cases led by Jackson had 47 percent fewer convictions than the national average. Jackson also denounced the child pornography commission, which is 35 percent below the national average.

In fact, in every child pornography case he’s heard of, Jackson has convicted the defendant under criminal guidelines, according to documents reviewed by Breitbart News. Similarly, in every child pornography case, Jackson sentenced the defendant to a lesser or lesser sentence on the recommendation of the prosecutor. In all but one of the child pornography cases, Jackson convicted the defendant as follows or on the advice of a parole officer.

A man convicted of possession of child pornography, Brown Jackson, publicly thanked him for the decision. Also, Brown Jackson was unable to explain what a woman was when Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) questioned her during her confirmation hearing, adding that she was “not a biologist.”
