After a low-key wedding ceremony in Las Vegas a month ago and a very public honeymoon in Paris, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck hosted a huge wedding reception for friends and family this Saturday at the groom’s estate in Georgia.
The bride wore a very special dress by Ralph Lauren with a mermaid silhouette, long train with ruffles, short sleeves and a low back. In addition to a long veil and a colorful bouquet of flowers. The groom opted for a suit with a white jacket and black pants. The ceremony was hosted by Jay Shetty, host of the On Purpose podcast.
The ceremony and party were held at Ben Affleck’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia. Preparations and speculation about the celebrations began as early as last week. In some photographs of the area, published by the Page Six website, you can see an open tent, with chairs arranged to observe the ceremonies, and decorated with trees and white flowers. The marquee was linked to the mansion by a white catwalk along which both the bride and groom walked on their way to the ceremony, as well as the guests at the end of it. The bride and groom were seen taking pictures on a walkway over the water. At the end of the night, guests were treated to a fireworks display over the property’s lake.
The all-white-clad guests and some of the famous faces in attendance included actor Matt Damon, director Kevin Smith, actor Jaseon Mewes and agent Patrick Whitesell, accompanied by their respective wives, according to People magazine. His children were all present. The most notorious absences were on the side of Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner (the ex-wife) -because she is recording in Texas- and Casey Affleck, who already had paternal commitments and therefore did not attend the ceremony, says the Daily Mail.

Jennifer Lopez, 53, and Ben Affleck, 50, met on the set of the film “Duro Amor” (“Gigli”) in 2002 and played one of the sensational celebrity couples of the turn of the century. They even had a nickname: “Bennifer”. There was an engagement ring and even wedding plans, but eventually they would break up. Ben Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner and had three children, Violet (16), Seraphina (13), and Samuel (10). Jennifer Lopez married Marc Anthony and they were the parents of twins Max and Emme, who are now 14 years old.
After these marriages, both ended their marriages and continued with their lives until they were together again in 2021. They rekindled the flame that had been extinguished almost 20 years ago and it has been a real firework for fans. This year Ben asked Jen to marry him again and this time they kept her promise. They married on July 16 in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.
