The Qatari channel Al Jazeera reported that “Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman called US Ambassador to Iran Robert Mulley during which they discussed the latest developments in the nuclear deal talks” and indicated that “Qatari Foreign Minister is in a telephone conversation with the European Union’s High Representative for European Affairs, Joseph Borrell, during which they discussed negotiations on a nuclear deal.

And earlier today, the representative of the US State Department, assessing the visit to Tehran of the Deputy Commissioner of the European Union and the coordinator of the Joint Commission on the Nuclear Agreement Enrique Mora, considered that “at this stage, the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program remains out of reach”, noting that “Iran must decide, adhere to whether he is on terms that have nothing to do with the nuclear program, or wants to reach an early agreement,” in a statement to the French Press Agency (AFP).

In this context, the French agency AFP reported that “Borrell announced the resumption of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear issue.”
