Born on March 8, 1934 in Barcelona, ​​the defender played 236 games for Barcelona’s first team and wore the Spanish national team jersey four times.

Rodrigo, along with Fran Oliola and Siegfried Gracia, became one of the mainstays of the team, coached by Helenio Herrera between 1958 and 1960.

Rodrigo has been injured since 1963 and retired in 1966 at the age of 32.

Faced with the Catalan team winning the European Cup seasonally (1959/60 and 1965/66), the Spanish league title winning the season (1958/59 and 1959/60) and the season winning cup (1958/59 and 1962). 63).
