From informed sources of the Syrian Al-Watan, it became known that Pedersen will discuss in Damascus the arrangements for holding the eighth round of meetings of the committee to discuss amendments to the constitution in Geneva, where he should meet, in addition to Mikdad. , the joint head of the committee to discuss the constitutional amendment Ahmed Al-Kosbari and the Russian ambassador to Damascus, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of relations with Syria, Alexander Yefimov, will meet on Sunday with members of the mini-committee to discuss the constitutional amendment on behalf of the “civil society” delegation.

Al-Watan said earlier that the meetings of the committee to discuss the constitution in its eighth edition should begin on the thirtieth of this month, and according to Al-Watan, the national delegation, accompanied by a number of members of the civil society delegation, will arrive in Geneva on the twenty-eighth of this month on on board a private jet departing from Damascus.
