Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said the West, fearing defeat at the hands of the Russian army, had arranged an emergency supply of deadly weapons to Ukraine.
Shoigu stressed that special operations in Ukraine will continue until the full fulfillment of its tasks, despite the sanctions imposed on Russia and the extensive assistance provided by the West to Kiev.
These statements came during Shoigu’s participation today in the Council of Defense Ministers of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Tuesday, which discussed the situation in the area of organizational responsibility.
Shoigu noted that the situation in the Eastern European region has deteriorated drastically and the United States has chosen a path to completely eliminate the existing international security architecture.
Shoigu pointed out that research into the USA’s biological programs in Ukraine was conducted in secret, in violation of Washington’s international obligations.
Shoigu noted that Ukraine is a real threat to the development of nuclear weapons and their mode of delivery.
According to Shoigu, the number of foreign mercenaries fighting in Ukraine exceeded six thousand, and military advisers and employees of private military companies were sent to this country.
The minister stressed that the West refuses to accept many facts about the torture and brutal killing of Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine.
Shoigu reiterated that the Russian army, unlike the Ukrainian forces, did not bomb the areas of civilian infrastructure where civilians were located.
Shoigu noted that the West is deliberately working to weaken relations between the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization by subjecting Russia’s allies to severe pressure.
He stressed the need to strengthen the joint forces of the CSTO and improve decision-making mechanisms within the organization, stressing that Russia will continue to provide the necessary assistance to its allies in neutralizing the emerging that threaten and strengthen their sovereignty.
