The Chechen leader released a video in which he warned that Poland could face the fate of Ukraine and called on the Ukrainian president to “recover.”
“Ukraine is a deal,” Ramazan Kadyrov said in a video posted on his official page on the Telegram messenger app, adding: “If an order is issued after Ukraine, we (Poland) will show you what it is.” “You were made in six seconds.”
Kadyrov later called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinsky to “finally come to his senses and accept the terms offered by our president (Vladimir Putin).
Kadyrov has repeatedly used social media to brag about Chechen fighters’ actions against Ukrainian forces and to make other unconfirmed statements about the war in Ukraine.
Poland, which borders Ukraine, has provided arms and other aid to its neighbor since the Ukraine war on February 24. It has also accepted millions of Ukrainian refugees.
