Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Istanbul on Saturday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed greeted Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and conveyed his desire for the development and prosperity of the Republic of Turkey to the President of Turkey.
During the meeting, Erdogan expressed his condolences to the leadership, government and people of the UAE on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished the country prosperity under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In this meeting, bilateral relations and ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in all areas that serve their mutual interests and benefit their nations were discussed.
According to the UAE, the two sides also discussed the situation in the region and the importance of stepping up efforts to strengthen peace, security and stability in the region, and exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the crisis in Ukraine. WAM News Agency.
