  • geopolitical restructuring
  • NATO challenges
  • Chinese
  • Indo-Pacific Reorganization
  • Sino-American Technology Competition
  • Russia
  • Continuity of the state and economy

About two-thirds of the participants came from Europe and the rest from North America; about a quarter are from politics and government and the rest are from other fields. The group defines itself and its activities as follows:

The Bilderberg meeting is a forum for informal discussions on key issues. Meetings will be held in accordance with the Chatham House rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but the identity or affiliation of the speaker(s) or any other participant may not be disclosed.

Due to the private nature of the meeting, participants attend the meeting as individuals and not in any official capacity, and are therefore not bound by the customs of their offices or locations previously agreed upon. Therefore, they need time to listen, reflect, and gather information. There was no detailed agenda, no proposed resolutions, no voting, and no policy statements published.

Bilderberg Group was first established in 1954 in Europe’s World War II.

The event, led by Dutch Prince Bernhard, was first held at the Bilderberg Hotel in Oosterbeek.

The well-known list of ex-members is huge. Some went on to rule countries very soon: Angela Merkel was there in 2005 just months before she became Chancellor of Germany, and Bill Clinton was there in 1991 when he was still Governor of Arkansas. . Washington Post reports.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will attend this year.

Anyone who relies on daily reports of events will fail.

The group does not publish any notes or summaries of the discussions. Journalists were not allowed to record the event, although some were present as participants.

This year the meeting started on Thursday and will end on Sunday.
