The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar announced that the Ambassador of India, Deepak Mittal, had been summoned and presented with an official note of complete rejection and condemnation by Qatar of the statements of the representative of the ruling party against the Prophet Muhammad.

And in her statement, she indicated that “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Ambassador of India and handed him an official note expressing the disappointment of the State of Qatar and its complete rejection and condemnation of the statements made by the official. in the ruling party of India against the Messenger of God Muhammad.”

She stated that “While the State of Qatar welcomes the ruling party of India’s statement announcing the removal of the party’s representative due to his statements that angered Muslims around the world, it reaffirmed in a note of protest its expectation of a public apology and an immediate condemnation of these statements by the host government of India, noting that the continuation of such anti-Islamic statements with impunity poses a serious danger to the protection of human rights and can lead to further prejudice and marginalization, which lead to a cycle of violence and hatred.

The Qatar Foreign Ministry continued: “The memorandum states that more than two billion Muslims around the world follow the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad and his biography, which was a message of peace, understanding and tolerance, and they consider this a light that all Muslims to emulate around the world.”

She pointed out that “The State of Qatar emphasized that these offensive statements inciting religious hatred are an insult to Muslims around the world and demonstrate a clear disregard for the key role that Islam has played in the development of civilizations around the world, including in India”, and concluded that “The State of Qatar reaffirmed its full support for the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence and respect for all religions and nationalities, as these values ​​characterize Qatar’s global friendship and its tireless work to promote international peace and security.
