‘Big victory’ – European rights unite to beat europhiles in climate-crazy policy vote

Conservative and populist members of the European Parliament have succeeded in suppressing several proposals for extreme climate change that will have a huge impact on both individuals and businesses.

A series of climate proposals that could have a major impact on individuals and businesses in the European Union (EU) were rejected Wednesday night after conservative and populist members of the European Parliament opposed the measures.

While other green militant measures, including the bloc-wide ban of all internal combustion engine vehicles by 2035, have given the green light in the bloc’s parliament, the right-wing (MEP) opposition has had a total of three unpleasant consequences. It is extremely irritating to many hardy Europeans.

According to the report POLITICS, Proposals aimed at creating a new carbon trading system, imposing a new cap tax on carbon emissions, as well as establishing the so-called “Social Climate Fund”, were rejected during the voting, accompanied by friction as EU support. and resistance to the right, which resulted in three dissatisfied votes.

The unexpected results were hailed as a “big victory” for Romanian MEP Cristian Terhes, a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists group.

“Parties on the left want to create a carbon cap and trading system that will make prices explode and make any EU product or service uncompetitive in the global market,” Terhes said in a statement published in Breitbart Europe.

“Conservatives for a prosperous industry and workers’ lives in Europe voted against the devastating emissions trading system,” he continued.

On the contrary, Drs. Identity and Democracy Group MP Gunnar Beck warns that while opposition voices have had “limited success”, it is naive to think that the political struggle is over.

Dr. stressed. Beck said the vote failed only because the proposals were not “radical and realistic” enough for MEPs on the far left, and that many turned to Europhiles to help those on the right reject the bills.

“Any delay or any level of moderation is definitely a good thing,” Drs said. Beck, however, explained to Breitbart Europe last night that much more extreme climate measures were in place and that the proposals “should not be returned to the committee” and will return soon.

“There is a risk that there will be enough will to do something that could cause harm,” the Alternative für Deutschland (Alternative or AfD for Germany) politician continued. “Beside this limited and stagnant success, the European Parliament has taken a very important step towards the economic self-destruction of the EU.”

“The European Union places huge costs on industries, even if some are globally competitive, with the possible hope of establishing competitiveness and leadership in new green industries that have yet to be created,” he said. He added that the left does not have “an adequate understanding of the huge cost” that green proposals will impose on European residents.
