In his speech at the opening of the annual conference commemorating the eighth anniversary of the Sufficient Jihad Fatwa and the Establishment of the People’s Mobilization, he explained that “The Sufficient Jihad Fatwa of Religious Exile has brought about a great shift for the Iraqi people.” , changed the course of events and made the nation and the crowd will continue to raise the flag of Iraq without any retreat”, noting. He added that “the fatwa has taken the Iraqi youth from a state of defeat to a state of challenge and confrontation, and has created a new spirit for the people to confront the danger looming over Iraq.”

Al-Fayyad warned against “falsifying public opinion and its consequences and dangers for Iraq and its people”, emphasizing that “there are those who are trying to bring down the crowd and describe it as temporary, trying to restore chaos in Iraq.” He stated that “the crowd of people has been able to achieve a great victory against the terrorist ISIS, especially since it consists of all components of the people and will not take the side of one group without the other”, stating that “we will be honest to keep the trust and protect the crowd from any dangers that may surround her.”

He urged “not to allow an outside hand to destroy the stability and civil peace in Iraq”, stressing that “PMU is the guarantor of security and it will not be biased against any political party and its resources will not be used by any political faction and will not allow the overthrow of the state.
