The Palestinian news agency Ma’an reported that “Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the cities of Bethlehem, Hebron and Al-Bira, the towns of Beita in Nablus, Kabatiyah in Jenin, Silwad in Ramallah and the Al-Arub camp in Hebron. and twelve Palestinians were arrested.”

Yesterday, Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Al-Nahala said that “what is happening in Jerusalem and the West Bank, against prisoners and ignoring their strike, requires a serious attitude on the part of our entire people.” Al-Nahala stressed that “the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine takes these headlines seriously and will not accept this ongoing humiliation.”

Earlier, Israeli forces attacked Palestinian fishermen’s boats off the coast of Gaza City, while the forces arrested three Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem. Security sources said: “Israeli naval boats fired on fishermen’s boats and opened water cannons at the fishing boats and tried to sink one of them near the sea in the Sudaniya region northwest of Gaza City, causing damage to the fishing boat.”
