Romanian President Nicolae Ceausescu noted that “my visit to Kyiv, accompanied by French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, aims to demonstrate our strong support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people.”

Ceausescu arrived in the capital of Ukraine Kyiv. Earlier, Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi arrived in Kyiv on a special train. The three leaders boarded a special train in Poland and arrived in the Ukrainian capital on Thursday morning.

A German TV channel said: “Makron, Schulze and Draghi met ‘at night’ in Rzyszów (southeast Poland), where an international airport is located, before continuing on to Ukraine towards Kyiv. The top three will confirm Europe’s support for Ukraine in the war it has been waging against the “Russian operation” since February 24.
