Former Brazilian Miss Gliss Correa, 27, has died after undergoing surgery to remove her tonsils, which left her in a coma for two months.
This and the body were sent to forensic medicine for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
“I had surgery to remove my tonsils in late March, and after five days at home, he was bleeding,” Lydian Alves Oliveira, the priest of the Correa family, told the Mirror.
He added: I went to the clinic … On April 4, he had a heart attack.
He continued sadly: “Since then I went into a coma without nervous activity and today he died.
Meanwhile, another religious official and family friend, Rev. Jack Abrou, offered his condolences on social media.
Abru stated that the beauty queen’s parents believed that a medical malpractice had occurred during the routine tonsillectomy.
It is worth noting that Glassi won the crown of Miss Brazil in 2018.
The late beauty queen was also a makeup entrepreneur and gained more than 50,000 followers on Instagram.
