Prosecutor General of Ukraine: Between 200 and 300 crimes per day committed by Russian troops

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Iryna Venediktova, assured this Thursday that between 200 and 300 crimes are committed by Russian troops every day.

Most of the charges, according to the same official, are related to war crimes, aggression and genocide – there are even two people identified as suspects in the latter crime.

Iryna Venediktova, according to Ukrinform, took the difficulties in investigating so many cases as a problem that hampers the work of justice. “Many times we do not have access to territories or people. However, this does not mean that we should not launch an investigation, we always will.”

In addition, registered 12 cases of ecocide committed during the invasion of Ukrainesuch as the “arrival of the invaders at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other nuclear power plants”, detailed the Ukrainian Prosecutor General.
