Putin blames G7 for inflation

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the sharp rise in inflation in the world is the result of several years of irresponsible action by the G7 countries and not because of Russia’s special operations.

He added: “Some countries, in order to maintain their hegemony, are constantly seeking to replace the current global structure based on the central role of the United Nations with a kind of rule-based system. It is not clear what laws are and who invented them.” Putin said at a meeting in the framework of the BRICS Summit:

According to Sputnik, Putin added: “Efforts to limit the development of countries that are not ready to live by laws invented by the individual, the use of illegal means of sanctions, as well as the consequences of the Corona virus. “The pandemic only exacerbated the crisis in the global economy.”

“The West is artificially creating hysteria about Ukraine’s grain delivery position, and Russia is not blocking the export of these grains,” he said. “Kyiv is not constructive enough.”

He added that the harvest in Russia would be good and could supply 50 million tons of grain to world markets.

The Russian president also stressed that the BRICS Plus formula is useful because of the convergence of the positions of the participating countries seeking free and multipolar trade.
