Major General Hussein Salami, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), replaced the intelligence chief on Friday to support efforts to shame the country’s enemies.

According to the statement, Salami transferred former priest Hossein Taeb, who has been in office for more than 12 years, to an important role as his advisor.
