A public opinion poll conducted by the American CBS channel showed that 80% of US citizens believe that the situation in their country is developing “badly”, while only 19% of those polled consider the situation to be good.
The study was conducted on June 24-25 with 2,265 US citizens, immediately after the US Supreme Court ruled to overturn constitutional guarantees for abortion. Respondents were asked to express their opinion about this step and the situation in the country as a whole.

On the economic front, inflation in the United States accelerated to its highest level since December 1981, according to data from the US Department of Labor released last week.
